Thanks for visiting my website! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a lifelong passion for helping others. This passion ultimately drew me to this profession and continues to guide me. I received my Master’s in Community Psychology from the University of New Haven, and have a special interest in how different systems (community, school, work…) impact how we function. I believe that learning and self-exploration is a lifelong process, and I bring this into my personal life and to my work with clients. I take a strength-based, integrative approach in working with my clients, drawing on various therapeutic models to best fit the needs of my clients. I strongly believe that my clients are the experts in their lives and my job is to support and empower them through their journey of healing and recovery.

My background includes extensive experience in multi-systemic therapy, working with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system, and their families. I have specialized training in a variety of Solution-Focused modalities, including DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral, and Cognitive models. I am also trained as a Domestic Violence Counselor, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. In addition to my clinical work, I am also an adjunct instructor to college students. In my capacity as an instructor and a therapist I place a heavy emphasis on staying up to date on current psychological research and perspectives to best serve my clients and students.
